New Translation Technology Cuts Costs and Speeds Delivery
KCSL’s Web-Based NoBabel generates new, high-quality translation units from existing translation memory
TORONTO, Canada, July 26, 2007
– KCSL Inc. announced today the release of its NoBabel™ Translation Memory Enhancer, the first of a series of breakthrough linguistic products under the NoBabel banner. The current release operates under the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model over the Internet. It pairs English with French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish, and Russian, and will soon be expanded to include additional languages. NoBabel is available to qualified industry professionals.
"KCSL creates translation products with tremendous potential for generating efficiencies in our operation," said Steve Desmeules, owner and President of ACCU Translations, an award-winning translation company based in Burlington, Ontario, that has been beta-testing the NoBabel TM Enhancer.
"By automatically creating new translation units from existing translation memories, NoBabel provides increased savings of cost and time, while maintaining the quality expected of human translators," said KCSL CEO Ilia Kaufman. "NoBabel combines our proprietary, leading-edge linguistic technologies to create new automated translations that are as close as it gets to human translations."
Positive Response at Localization World Berlin Conference
"Over 500 attendees at the Localization World conference had exposure to NoBabel last month," said Richard Sikes, Director of Sales and Marketing for KCSL. "Ilia Kaufman’s presentation was extremely well attended. Already many interested customers representing both large and small companies have tried the Online Demo."
